High Performance Computing Community engagement

The European High Performance Computing Joint Undertaking (EuroHPC JU) is a joint initiative between the EU, European countries and private partners to develop a World Class Supercomputing Ecosystem in Europe. ParTec was appointed the role of an observer in the Research & Innovation Advisory Group (RIAG).

EA-MHPC

The Mousquetaire Group formed by Atos, CEA, Forschungszentrum Jülich (FZJ) and ParTec, is the strongest possible partnership in Europe to develop Exascale technology components and to integrate them into a reliable, resilient and highly effective system. Its purpose is to further design, develop, promote and deploy the European High-Performance Computing reference architecture.

The European Technology Platform for High-Performance Computing (ETP4HPC) is a private, industry-led and non-profit association. ParTec is a co-founder of ETP4HPC and acting as secretary/administrator of the Board of Directors. Furthermore, ParTec is leading the SME working group and supporting small and medium size companies within the European HPC ecosystem.

The European Open File System SCE (EOFS) is a non-profit organization. Its goals are to promote the establishment and adoption of open source parallel file systems, sustain and enhance their quality, capabilities and functionality and ensure that specific requirements of European organizations, institutions and companies are upheld. ParTec is a founding member of EOFS.

ParaStation Consortium

The ParaStation Consortium was founded in 2005 by ParTec, Forschungszentrum Jülich, and the universities of Karlsruhe and Wuppertal, to support research into and development of innovative, highly performant, stable and reliable software components to enhance and extend the features of ParTec’s ParaStation products. Areas addressed included support of multiple topology layers, integration of parallel file systems and Grid components, effective support for installing, and maintaining Clusters, effectual health checking of system components, and close coupling with scheduling systems. Today, the ParaStation Consortium focuses on extending the proven ParaStation Modulo Software Suite to best support highly heterogenous Exascale-class systems based on the Modular Supercomputing Architecture.

Quantum computing Community engagement

UKQuantum's mission is to unite the UK quantum industry with one voice, champion within government and internationally, advising on interventions and policies that wil advance the UK quantum industry. It also aims to promote the adoption and benefits of quantum technologies across the UK economy.

QuIC's mission is to enhance the competitiveness and economic prosperity of the European quantum-technology industry. By becoming a member, ParTec contributes to QuIC's collaborative efforts in developing strategic goals, fostering industrial growth, and positioning quantum technology products as essential solutions for addressing societal and environmental challenges.
