The ISC High Performance 2024 conference and exhibition, the annual global gathering for HPC technology providers and users, took place May 12-16 in Hamburg. Its aims was to foster the growth of a thriving HPC community that includes practitioners of machine learning, data analytics, and quantum computing.
ParTec had the chance to speak at the HPC Solutions Forum, moderate several Birds of a Feather (BoF) sessions and present ourselves at a booth in the exhibition area.
ISC High Performance 2024 provided a great opportunity for discussions, showcasing project results and announcing our new quantum solution approach.
On Monday, May 13th, ParTec announced a comprehensive, HPC-integrated, component-based quantum computing solution. Our HPC/QC Solution Architect, Dr. Stefan Kister, presented this innovative approach in detail to over 80 attendees at the HPC Solution Forum that afternoon.
This new solution approach was well-received by ISC attendees, generating significant interest from current and potential partners and customers. Many constructive discussions took place at our booth about our QBridge API, component-based quantum computing, and our future plans for an HPC-driven quantum workbench computer and digital twin.
In these discussions, new technology partners focused on how to collaborate with us and contribute to our component-based QC approach. Meanwhile, prospective customers explored how QC could benefit their application domains and integrate into their existing HPC datacenters. We demonstrated the openness of our QC solution and offered workshops and hackathons to provide more details and assist with integrating quantum technology into specific applications.
A lot of exciting news has been published during ISC High Performance 2024. Below are the key messages announced during the event:
The first module of the exascale supercomputer JUPITER, named JEDI, is ranked first place in the Green500 list of the most energy-efficient supercomputers worldwide.
ParTec announces high-performance modular AI solution – collaboration with Supermicro for training LLMs as well as the dawning mining and training of huge technical and scientific data bases.
ParTec AG announces during the ISC High Performance 2024 conference that it will be offering full-stack quantum computing solutions, featuring a modular, qubit-agnostic approach.
The SEA Projects came to a successful conclusion in April 2024. The projects had their final reviews with the expert reviewers appointed by the EuroHPC Joint Undertaking.
