Legal Counsel (Diploma in Law, Bachelor/Master of Business Law) / Legal Assistant

Job Summary

This position reports to the General Counsel, Head of the Legal Department, and is particularly responsible for contract management. In addition, it provides support in all organisational and legal matters related to the further expansion of the Legal department.

Duties and Responsibilities

Contract management: digital filing, storage of contracts, creation of contract summaries, administration and updating of contracts, monitoring of deadlines and processes
Drafting and editing contracts, mainly in English, such as non-disclosure agreements, contract extensions, service contracts
Support in the analysis, implementation and further development of internal processes in the area of contract management, compliance and corporate governance
Involvement in the creation and updating of work instructions and templates for the legal department
Monitoring legal developments as part of regulatory monitoring within the scope of the compliance management system
Processing and providing support in answering individual enquiries regarding, among other things, contract, stock corporation and data protection law
Organising and coordinating legal matters, e.g. working with internal departments and external partners; scheduling; processing incoming and outgoing mail

Your profile

Completed studies (e.g. law, business law) or a comparable qualification
Professional experience in contract management, preferably in the field of legal tech
Basic knowledge of contract law and an understanding of legal provisions, particularly in relation to IT, is desirable
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Independent, careful and team-oriented way of working
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Ability and interest in quickly acquiring new skills
Confident handling of MS Office applications
Team orientation and willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic environment
Fluent German and English
Existing work permit
