At ParTec AG, we design, build, and support purpose-built heterogeneous supercomputer solutions for science using our modular supercomputing architecture approach.

As a hardware-agnostic system provider, we work closely with leading technology vendors in the field. For building some of the largest and most complex supercomputers in Europe, we integrate a broad range of products and compute technologies of different origin and maturity level into total system solutions using our ParaStation Modulo software suite.

Head of Marketing

Job summary

This is a key role for ParTec’s new strategic direction of developing, selling, and supporting quantum computers ideally integrated into HPC systems. As part of the ParTec Marketing team, the Head of Marketing is responsible for all marketing of ParTec. You manage all marketing campaigns and marketing strategy to reach new customers. A few of the main duties of a Head of Marketing are creating weekly or monthly marketing reports, creating marketing campaigns and collaborating with other ParTec departments to create new products.


Primary duties and responsibilities

  • Unlock ParTec’s business strategy through building a strong external brand
  • Develop consumer insights to build strong brand equity based on consumer research
  • Lead and coach a team that is pioneering and scaling the marketing strategy across key markets
  • Support internal business units with their strategies, ensuring a high level of stakeholder engagement across central functions and markets
  • Develop a yearly budget for the marketing team
  • Communicate the brand identity with the ParTec team
  • Sift through marketing data to find the important trends
  • Stay up to date on the latest marketing trends
  • Attend conferences to further marketing knowledge
  • Oversee social media strategy and implementation
  • Develop thought leadership pieces such as an e-book
  • Create marketing reports to show to executives

Required skills & experience

  • 10 years of experience as well an MBA or Master’s in marketing degree
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once
  • Ability to communicate effectively in speech and writing
  • A customer focused attitude
  • Content management and creation experience
  • SEO and PPC experience, certifications preferred
  • Strong drive for results
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to analyze problems and create a solution
  • Experience in budget creation to develop the yearly budget for the marketing team

Job conditions

  • Language requirement (written & spoken) of German and English is mandatory.
  • Understanding and proficient usage of additional languages is a plus.
  • Office environment available at our German headquarter in Munich.
  • Flexible work hours, flexible workplace including home office.
  • Regular to frequent travels
