Event Marketing Manager with an affinity for online marketing

Job summary

As part of the ParTec Marketing team, the Event Marketing Manager helps develop, execute, and monitor all event marketing activities. Your work includes the creation and organization of event concepts for tradeshows, roadshows and online formats such as webinars.  The planning of creative content and storytelling as well as analysing trends to help define the organization’s marketing strategy, and providing advice as to how to best reach the target market is also part of the role.

Primary duties and responsibilities

  • Develop and execute event concepts for trade shows, roadshows, dinner receptions and anniversaries including professional invitation process and follow-up
  • Create concepts for online formats such as webinars or tutorials and execute their successful implementation incl. moderation and speakers
  • Expand formats and campaigns to win new customers for events
  • Support with content creation (messages, photo, video, blogposts, animation etc.) for tradeshows, the corporate website and social media profiles
  • Collaborate with other internal teams (e.g. product and sales) to develop and monitor strategic marketing initiatives
  • Work with external agencies and cooperation partners to execute on events

Required skills and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or marketing or professional experience as a marketing specialist
  • 2-5 years of experience in marketing and events
  • Skilled in writing and editing content with an attention to detail
  • Strong visual competence and knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Canva etc.
  • Strong knowledge of various marketing and analytics tools as well as content management systems
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong prioritization, organization, and project management skills
  • Ability to travel as necessary
