Following the call for tender for the acquisition, delivery, installation and maintenance of Petascale supercomputer launched by LuxProvide and EuroHPC JU in January 2020, Atos was selected to deliver the MeluXina system to Luxembourg. Its design follows the Modular Supercomputing Architecture. In this successful project ParTec is the technology partner of LuxProvide.
JURECA
The name stands for the world’s first supercomputer based on the innovative Modular Supercomputing Architecture that has gone into productive operation, hosted by the Jülich Supercomputing Centre. The Cluster-Booster system is operated as a single, heterogeneous system with the ParaStation Modulo Software Suite reached #29 in the Top500 list in November 2017.
JUWELS
Following the Modular Supercomputing approach, the Jülich Supercomputing Centre extended its JUWELS supercomputer with the so-called Booster module, designed for extreme computing power and AI tasks, developed as a co-design project with Atos and ParTec, together with NVIDIA and Mellanox. The 70+ PFlop/s Booster reached #7 of the Nov 2020 Top500 list.
